At Old Dominion University (ODU), I’m part of a research club in a professor lab in learning autonomous robotics with an end goal of multi-robotics communication. The main concept is to have multiple drones of an unman air vehicle (UAV) to communicate with an unman ground vehicle (UGV) with using the Orange Cube drone controller.

The first vehicle of the research is learn how an air drone will function from construction, programming it and flight behavior. As it was my first time doing air drone we decide to used something not as advance as the Orange Cube flight controller but instead used the Speedybee flight controller as an entry controller to understand the basic concept. Part of drone construction is the electrical component is require to go with autonomous vehicle from radio communication from telemetry to radio control as well getting Global Positioning System (GPS). Then the group split into into one person of the group is in charge of wiring the component to the flight controller while the I was in charge to design and fabricate a test bench for the air drone to learn on it behavior with the motor are spinning.
